eJournal |

From January 2000 to March 2009 I maintained this eJournal using Dreamweaver, CSS, and manual coding. It was a labor of love, but a lot of work. In April of 2009, I switched (with mixed emotions) to the datebase-driven WordPress system in order to make updating my eJournal quicker and simpler. The calendar below lists all the original entries prior to April 2009.

Why keep an eJournal?
The idea of an online journal came from a friend of mine in Austin named Bryan (aka: ChaosInAustin). Bryan has a great online fotojournal that he has been sharing with his friends and family since 1998. Every week, I view his site to see what he's been up to. When I first started reading his entries, I thought Bryan's fotojournal was a great way to keep his friends up-to-date on the ups and downs in his life. I wanted to do the same, but I had to wait until I owned a digital camera. Finally, at the beginning of 2000, I purchased a Polaroid PDC 700, created my eJournal, and have been keeping it up-to-date ever since. |
