Hey Glen....how 'bout that, you still have us up on your page! :D

Believe it or not, the kids were in 5th grade when these pictures were taken.

On Monday August 10th, they start HIGH SCHOOL!!!! I mentioned in a different post (your birthday one) that we sold the house and are moving. So....

We spent all day yesterday getting them set up at their new high school. The HS they are attending is about the size of a community college. In fact, it is set up very much like a small college--including course catalog, pre-reqs, registration process and...the schedules. Some classes meet M-W-F, some meet T-Th. Some are all year (2 credits) and some are only 1 semester (1 credit). They have a Syllabus to follow and the teachers treat the kids like young adults (ie, they won't hound 'em for homework, they just give 'em a zero if they don't do it). It's gonna be a whole new (very BIG) world for them. Hard to believe how fast they're growing up. Just four more years....and then they're off to college. Nick still has his eye on TAMU. Allie says she's "tired of school", so we're gonna have to work on keeping her motivated. *sigh*

Take care...let us hear from you soon!
