A Tour of the Christmas Ranch
Saturday afternoon, Glenn, Ruben and I drove southeast to the Christmas Ranch in the Sam Houston National Forest. It just so happens that this private estate located within the borders of a national forest is the home of my friend and former viz-student, Trisha. Her father turns their country home into a Christmas attraction every holiday season.

Anyway, Trisha recently completed her degree and will soon be heading to the West Coast to work at DreamWorks Studios. The gathering held at her parents’ home was a happy-graduation/going away party for her and her husband. We had a great time that day, eating crawfish, meeting new people and laughing with friends. We’ll miss Trisha, but I know she’ll do well when she leaves the Lone Star State to make her mark on the CG industry.
