SIGGRAPH 2009 – days 5 and 6
August 6-7, 2009
The last two days of this conference were just as busy as the start of the week. Thursday was spent attending the Disney educators meeting where Disney presented the work they had recently done with our students this past summer. Afterward, we returned to the conference center for more talks, presentations, and meetings with recruiters. That evening we attended the final conference reception. Early Friday morning, I headed back to the conference to document the work and presentations our faculty and students were involved in. Finally, close to the end of the day, we had a little free time before the bus arrived to take us back to College Station. We spent those last remaining hours exploring the Southern edge of the French Quarter. Eventually, we boarded our bus and made it back to Aggieland. Overall, we had a great SIGGRAPH experience.
