Homework and Benchwork

December 11, 2009

As the semester came to a close, Ruben spent most of his time glued to his laptop and his course notes. I tried to help, but biology, anatomy and physiology are not my favorite subjects (I can’t stand looking at photos of cadavers and dissected muscles). I’d rather work with physical objects. So, that’s what I did while Ruben studied.

At the request of an old friend, I spent time at my workbench building a stereo-camera rig. The friend bought the parts and I simply recreated my original design (along with a few improvements).

Tell Ruben he needs to get A&P Revealed 2.0 from McGraw Hill (order if from their website for $40) if he’s going to continue with A&P. He’ll love it!

Wish I had time to work in my shop. I spend all my time culturing microbes and cleaning/repairing microscopes. I want to have fund and be a handy man!!!
