Snow Day

It snowed in Aggieland! In just a few hours inches of snow blanketed the area. This is a rare meteorological occurrence for this part of the country. Understandably, students were drawn from their computers by the urge to explore the winter wonderland that suddenly developed on campus. They quickly began engaging in snowball fights or building snowmen. Others, like myself, photographed this rare beautiful snow day.

It was a fun…but COLD…day for taking pictures. The hard part was keeping the camera dry.

Thanks Mike. I think it’s my favorite of that day. Too bad it only lasted a day.
It has snowed here a few times in the past few months and it still amazes me how people react. It snowed so much the second time that it was piled on top of cars. I laughed out loud driving home from work when I saw a car going down the street with a snowman built on top of its trunk complete with arms, eyes and a mouth.
