Old Friends, Lick Creek, Geocaching and Kyro

March 6, 2010

My old friends, Rob and Lamon, came into town to attend a continuing education conference for veterinarians. Lamon is the animal doctor and Rob is a plant doctor (plant molecular biologist). While Lamon was at his meetings, Rob and I joined Glenn and his friend, Gigi for a day at Lick Creek Park with their dogs. While we were there, Rob kept collecting plant specimens to show his students.

Before I left the park, I trekked deep into the woods to find a geocache I had hidden. I had to find it so I could restock it and replace the disposable camera within it. Eventually, everyone met back at our house for dinner. We really enjoyed spending time with Rob and Lamon.

The next day, we had to say goodbye to our four legged houseguest, Kyro. Liz had completed her internship in Houston and was ready to get her doggie. We’ll miss this little guy. He was a handful at times, but still a good dog.
