On the morning of the 15th, I was one of the lucky gadget-geeks to preorder the iPhone4. The demand for this new phone exceeded everyone’s expectations. Before the day was over all preorders were filled. On the 24th, my new little gizmo finally arrived….BUT…AT&T had trouble keeping up with so many people wanting to activate their new phones. It took 12 hours and two phone calls (via Ruben’s phone) to get finally get my phone activated. Despite the activation hiccup, I’m impressed with the phone. It’s so much faster than my old 3G, the camera is better, and it has some impressive features. I think my favorite is FaceTime. Saturday afternoon, I had my first FaceTime call with my friend, Devon in Dallas. Wow! The video and audio was so clear with no lag-time or image stuttering. It was a real “Star Trek” moment.
