Saturday morning Liz, Vann, Elsa and Travis made their way from Houston to College Station to spend Memorial Day weekend with us. Shortly after they arrived, we prepared for a picnic, loaded in my little Soul and headed to Independence, Texas. We decided to visit the Washington on the Brazos state park instead of any nearby lakes to avoid dealing with overcrowded recreational areas. Beautiful weather and no-crowds made this state park a perfect picnic spot. Later that afternoon, we made our way back to the house and played several intense rounds of Catch-Phrase. That evening, we headed to Northgate for a couple of shots and some dancing!
