Elsa invited Ruben and me to join her, Travis, Liz and Manny (Ruben’s youngest brother) on an outing to Galveston and Kemah. Early Saturday morning Ruben and I drove down to Houston to meet them. This was the first time I met Ruben’s youngest brother….based on looks alone, he’s a miniature version of Ruben. The six of us made our way from Houston to Galveston for a little fun in the sun. While we were on the beach, I flew my kite and camera-rig to snap a few aerial shots of the beach. Before leaving Galveston, we ate at Casey’s Seafood Cafe, home of the best shrimp I’ve ever had. Eventually, we made our way to Kemah where we had fun riding a large speed-boat called The Beast, and a wooden-rollercoaster called The Boardwalk Bullet. After returning to Houston, Ruben and I began our drive back to Aggieland. It was a long day, but a fun one.
