Texas A&M University

sealAfter completing my MA, I began working for the Texas Agricultural Extension Service on the Texas A&M University campus. While I enjoyed that job, I missed working directly with students. A few years later, I started working at the Visualization Laboratory with students in the MS-Viz program. I thought pursuing a Ph.D. would be a wise move for my career if I were to continue working in the field of higher education. Based on that assumption, I enrolled in the Ph.D. program within the Department of Educational Psychology. A few years into that adventure, I realized that I was not cut out for the never-ending path of academic research associated with a Ph.D. Because I didn’t want to throw away the work I had invested up to that point, I changed my degree plan and eventually completed an M.Ed.
