Photography

glen_photographer3Photography is my #1 hobby and I’ve been fortunate enough that being a photographer is also part of my job responsibilities at the Viz Lab.

I took the photo above on my 14th birthday with my first 35mm SLR, a Pentax K1000 (I still have that camera).

I can thank both of my parents for getting me hooks on taking pictures. Yep, that’s me to the left, holding my mom’s first camera. I doubt there was film in it.

Speaking of film, today I rarely use it. I’m spoiled by the instant gratification that comes with using a digital camera and I never go anywhere without one. I’ve always thought of cameras as little time machines that help us hold on to the past.

A day without taking a picture is a day lost forever. – Glen Vigus
