img_0348For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved the moon and the stars. In fact, “Moon” was the first word I spoke as a child. Wherever I travel, I just look up at the night sky and gaze upon the moon, the stars and the constellations. To me, they are like childhood friends who follow me wherever I go.

When I was in high school, I designed and built a 10″ Newtonian telescope. In February of 2004, I finally got my dream-machine, a Celestron NexStar 11 GPS telescope. But honestly, I have more fun looking at the stars without a telescope. This revelation only came to me after years of pining for a telescope like the Celestron. Sometimes it’s better to enjoy things from a distance.
