Everyone should have a hobby, and for my minister, Dan, he turns to music for his creative outlet. On the first Saturday night in May, Glenn, Ruben and I headed to Northgate to listen to Dan and his band, That’s Mister to You. They put on a good show, I wish they could have played longer, but another band was lined up to play after them that night.

This year, my birthday fell on a Friday! That morning, I went to work the office with my head held high. I was determined not to be one of those people afraid to be 40. I’m going to be like Molly Shannon’s character from Saturday Night Live who was proud of her age….”I’m 40 years old and I’m lovin’ it…lovin’ it….lovin’ it!”
